Optimising Drawer Space
Considering the average length of a hunting rifle is approximately 40 inches, one of Gantech’s highest priorities was that the weapons storage drawer was easy to access and also wide enough to fit the rifle inside. Therefore, it was important that Hans Buch recommended a drawer slide which could support drawers of up to one meter in width and which could extend fully for easy access.
Based on this, Danish distributor Hans Buch recommended the DZ5321-EC-A and the DZ3832 slides for Gantech’s weapon storage solutions.
The DZ5321-EC-A telescopic slide was recommended due to the slide’s ability to support up to 100 kg and accommodate drawer widths of up to one meter, making it an ideal option for the weapons drawer. The slide’s full extension feature also allows easy access to the entire contents, ensuring hunters can swiftly retrieve their firearms when needed. The soft close function of the DZ5321-EC also ensured that the drawer closes smoothly and without noise.
The popular light duty DZ3832 slide was chosen in two lengths, the DZ3832-0045 and the DZ3832-0070. This light-duty slide, designed with full extension and lever disconnect features, prevents roll-out and bounce-back with its hold-in detent. The silent operation of the DZ3832 slide ensures high-performance movement, while an optional clip-on bracket facilitates bottom and platform mounting.
