Accuride International Ranks 16th Amongst the Most Resilient Companies in Germany
Just as our tag line states, at Accuride we are ‘Always Moving Forward’ – but to move forwards we must first look back and appreciate how far we have come as a company. With the New Year fast approaching, we are looking back at what we have achieved over the past twelve months. From the launch of some market-disrupting products like the new DA1532 pocket door slide as well as the more compact DA0118RC linear motion slide to being ranked 16th amongst the most crisis-resistant companies in Germany in 2023, we certainly have a lot to celebrate.
Stability in Uncertain Times
In an economic landscape fraught with challenges, the ability to navigate unforeseen global events and market changes is a testament to a company's resilience. This makes us especially proud to have been ranked 16th amongst the most crisis-resistant companies in Germany in 2023, as revealed by a study conducted by Creditreform Rating AG on behalf of the SZ Institute.

Accuride's Key Pillars of Stability
1. Maintaining a diversified Portfolio
We pride ourselves in being able to provide solutions to any project that comes our way, no matter the application or industry. To accomplish this, we have developed a wide range of products, from the compact light duty DZ2421 telescopic slide able to support 16kg to super heavy-duty slides like the DA0116RC linear motion track, which has been used to move a large gantry crane supporting over one ton of material.
Our years of experience in the industry have allowed us to develop our slides to work in a range of conditions, from the heat of a self-cleaning oven to maintenance access for a train’s air compressor.
This diverse portfolio of products makes us suitable for applications in a range of industries, spanning furniture, automotive, aerospace, and healthcare, therefore allowing us to navigate and adapt to any economic fluctuations.
2. Always Innovating
Our dedication to research and development has helped the company evolve and keep ahead of the market. We are proud to have launched several new products over 2023, including the compact DA0118 linear motion guide and the super heavy-duty DZ4180-080-035-U telescopic slide – and we’re not stopping there, with many other new products in the pipeline.
Our Design Engineers have been working hard to design products which will disrupt the market and add something new to our product offering.
The DA1532 pocket door sliding system has been designed for fitters who want a high quality pocket door slide which is also easy to install. The DA1532 pocket door slide is quicker to install compared to other similar pocket door slides on the market due to there being fewer components and a simplified cable alignment. This therefore saves the fitter money by allowing them to complete the installation quickly and then move on to the next job. 3. Sustainability as a Strategic Choice
At Accuride, we take pride in our commitment to sustainable practices. A large part of this journey has been gradually moving away from paper and towards more digital practices. We no longer print our catalogue but instead provide an online version. As well as this, we have also cut down on printing product installation guides and have instead started including QR codes within the packaging for products like the DA1532 pocket door slide, which the customer can then scan to access a digital version of the product installation guide.
4. Astute Decision Making
The ability to remain agile is an important part of the way we work at Accuride. Many of our teams work in ‘Scrum’, which is a form of project management which allows teams to be much more adaptable. We love efficiency at Accuride; the use of the Scrum framework has allowed us to get the best out of our teams every time. Our ability to pivot when necessary and remain agile has been instrumental in our enduring success, even in the face of unforeseen challenges.
A Closer Look at the Study
The study also took the financial position of each company into consideration. This included criteria such as an annual surplus exceeding 1 million euros from 2019 to 2021, stable return on equity in 2020 and 2021, above-average equity ratio, good return on investment, and high liquidity in 2020 and 2021. The Creditreform credit rating index in 2023 also had to be at least 170 or more. We proudly emerged among the top 300 companies in Germany, showcasing the strength of our financial foundation.
The statistics speak volumes — the probability of failure for all 300 qualified companies was less than 0.133 percent. Therefore showing that in the face of economic turbulence, we have demonstrated not only resilience but also secure market position, providing stability even in the most uncertain times.
