As the world’s leading specialist manufacturer of high quality telescopic ball bearing slides, Accuride International are continuing to demonstrate their flair for innovation by extending their ‘off-the- shelf’ product range into what is now believed to be the largest of its kind in Europe.
An exciting development is the extension of the range into very heavy duty applications. The recently launched aluminium DA4120 part extension slide and DA4140 full extension versions are available in lengths from 400 – 1500mm. With a massive load rating of up to 438kg and stainless steel balls and retainers these corrosion resistant slides will solve many access and movement problems across a range of market sectors.
At the other end of the scale are the part extension 2421 and full extension 2431 slides holding up to just 16kg and 20kg respectively. These tiny profile slides measure only 20mm tall and are available in lengths 200 – 500mm.
These are just some of a large number of additions to the collection.
European Distribution Sales Director Peter Baxter says: “Although we occasionally remove a product from the catalogue, the trend is one of continual growth. We started the distribution programme 12 years ago with a core range of 50 part numbers - now there are nearly 1,000.
“We provide, from stock, slides that carry anything from a 12 kg desk drawer to a 600 kg battery tray beneath a train.”
The Northampton warehouse receives almost daily shipments from Accuride’s manufacturing plants around the world, acting as a logistics hub for around 50 distributors across Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
The new ‘Quick Ship’ catalogue, featuring the full range of slides along with electronic enclosure accessories, is now available on Accuride’s website at www.accuride-europe.com or from Accuride’s approved global network of distributors.
Dedicated to the design and manufacture of telescopic ball bearing runners, Accuride are acknowledged as experts in developing high quality products for use in a vast array of markets including telecommunications, vending and cash-handling, industrial plant and equipment, and the marine, rail, aerospace and automotive industries.
