Slide with tilt down drawer system

A designer and manufacturer of fire rescue vehicles came to Accuride for heavy duty slides for equipment drawers. Our aluminium slides are ideal for this type of application due to their light weight and corrosion resistant properties.

We were able to offer a very effective solution for high bay storage drawers with a slide and tilt system that has been designed for ease of installation or retrofit. The clever adjustment cams are easily accessed from the front – a real practical benefit. The bumper wheels dampen and smooth out the movement, even when fully loaded.

  • Easy to fit
  • Fully adjustable from the front and with the drawer in place
  • Corrosion resistant
  • Light weight
  • Available from stock (DA4190) in Northampton with the option for specific supply agreements

Aluminium slides for emergency vehicles

For equipment drawers situated at a lower level we are able to offer the DA4160 with full extension and up to 300kg loading. This is held in stock in lengths from 300 to 1000mm in Northampton

For full access to the drawer we designed and over extension slide - the DA4162.

We can offer a supplier agreement to stock the DA4162 in Northampton to be called off as agreed and also hold the 500, 550 and 600mm lengths as stock items.

You may also be interested in the locking handle kit, DBHAND, which has been designed for use on emergency vehicle storage drawers.
